F#’s internal product ‘AdStudio’ enables clients to build and manage all aspects of their advertising campaign - from creation to managing team member permissions, from designing to tracking the ad’s metrics.
Competitive Analysis
At the start of F#’s AdStudio build, I conducted competitive analyses for our design editor and analytics tools. For the design editor, I looked to tools such as Weebly, Wix and Froont. For analytics, I researched functionality in tools such as GA, Kissmetrics and Piwik to determine the product’s basic requirements.
User Personas & Requirements
I built and conducted multiple surveys of our product’s potential users to determine the priority of user requirements. From there was able to create a number of personas of AdStudio’s key users.
Permissions
The admin of a brand’s campaign has the capability to create, invite and edit the team members that have been selected to design the ad within AdStudio. The admin of the campaign also has the ability to assign various levels of permissions to members of their team.
AdStudio provides users with an array of templates to choose from when building their ad. All templates are customizable and take responsiveness into account by permitting the user to design across various device sizes within the same canvas space.
